Unused RAM is wasted RAM Today, Windows uses more RAM than before it is not unusual to see 80-90% RAM utilisation At 12GB, that's expected With 8GB, with normal office usage (browser + outlook + word excel), 80-90% is the norm, so the 40-50% you're seeing sounds normal too And yes, what you can add up won't match the total on top I never figured out why

All im trying to understand is it better to run much cooler or do you want to run at optimum temps for best performance as in between 45-60 degrees Celsius max for the cpu and the same for the gpu Personally Iv always been told the cooler you can run the better plus it makes component’s last longer when running cooler temps
