348 409 The suffix codes can be found stamped on a pad located on the front of the passenger side cylinder head as shown in this example: An example: (T03I9QA) T=Tonowanda (assembly plant) 03=March (month) 19=19th (day) QA=400hp 409 (suffix code) All 348's and 409's were assembled at the Tonowanda plant however there were some blocks with CFD cast into them that came from the Central Foundry
