VLC uses a Nullsoft installer, so the correct flag is S, and not s The flag is case-sensitive, unlike other installers Do not rename the setup file to "vlc exe" The installer will perform a check to see if any VLC processes are running, and gets confused by seeing itself running under the wrong filename
