  • Non manifold edges - Bambu Lab Community Forum
Non-manifold geometry is defined as any edge shared by more than two faces This can occur when a face or edge is extruded but not moved, which results in two identical edges directly on top of one another So basically you have overlapping edges that cannot be printed
  • 1328 Non-manifold edges repair causing missing walls
Non-manifold edges are a CAD problem, not a slicer problem Your model file is defective However, that doesn’t mean it won’t slice or print Scale up the object Do the walls reappear when sliced? If so, turn on “detect thin walls” in the slicer (Arachne) and see if that fixes your problem If scaling the object doesn’t correct the problem, the issue is more fundamental and you will
  • Bambu, how to deal with non-manifold edges? : r BambuLab - Reddit
In Studio you can right click on the model and select "Fix Model" If that doesn't work then in Blender try going into Edit mode, select all and go to mesh clean up merge by distance Otherwise you will have to do some more work on your mesh to correct the geometry There is an addon in Blender called 3D-Print Toolbox
  • Non-Manifold Edges All Of A Sudden - Bambu Lab Community Forum
Im running Bambu Studio 1 9 1 67 Note that I can create a very simple model with two circles (one on one plane and the other on an offset plane The loft the two circles and still get the same issue when I load the step file into Studio Fusion 3602996×1320 285 KB Bambu Studio1915×1223 285 KB 2 Likes HighLatitude64 84 May 23, 2024, 7:35pm 2
  • Bambus slicer creates non-manifold edges
Unfortunately this is ‘just’ an issue with the tools Bambu uses to make these cuts A simple box or cylinder can work out fine, something with a complex geometry will almost always result in non-manifold edges and other defects I prefer to do cuts and such in a modelling program as then I know I will get the expected results
  • Non-manifold edges on Mac - Bambu Studio - Bambu Lab Community Forum
Please add the ability to fix non-manifold edges on the macOS client If there’s something holding you back from integrating it directly, maybe pay firmware co to add an API you can call and have them fix it automatically for Mac users
  • Error 6106 non-manifold - Bambu Studio - Bambu Lab Community Forum
Certainly an interesting subject The original STEP file is the vector model, when importing the STEP file, Bambu Studio converts models into triangular mesh automatically according to a tolerance that is small than the half of default arc fitting tolerance That is, it is converted into a high-precision STL model in Bambu Studio
  • Wrong geometry after slicing, why? - Bambu Studio - Bambu Lab Community . . .
This may be due to the 2401 non manifold edges that the slicer says it has when I put it in, and I am trying to repair it but it is taking quite a bit
