Messaging file sizes depends on the carrier, the type of messaging (RCS or MMS) and of course the recipients use of a like messaging service as well as in-carrier restrictions What that means is that it all depends 😉 Google Messages, sure if both you and the recipient are using RCS and both are on the same carrier when required

Hey there! I can absolutely understand the importance of wanting your picture messages to download! Let's try this! Go to messages app, tap the 3-dots menu in the top-right corner, and go to Settings > Advanced > Auto-download MMS If the option is on, try turning it off and manually downloading your MMS message
