I think it's a good way to get more people familiar comfortable with the game It's a fun atmosphere and a good time with friends, especially if the people going play golf on the course It makes the games much more competitive If you're the only golfer in your group, it's really easy to show off to everyone else in your group, even if you're only mediocre

- I’ve always wondered if anyone could clear the TopGolf Fence
The real question is whether or not he is using a topgolf golf ball The balls they provide are specially designed to not fly as far as a normal golf ball for the purpose of keeping them within the fence One could theoretically bring in their own ball and pretty easily hit it over the fence (only 215 yards down range) Golfers like Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson regularly hit drives 350 yds

It completely depends on the instructor and the type of class, IMO If it's a one on one lesson with a well credentialed pro, it's probably be as good of a lesson as you'd get with any pro at a driving range If it's some group lesson with some guy paid $10 hr that works for top golf - mabye not so much

Has anyone taken lessons from TopGolf? How was it? Edit: Confirmed the instructor is PGA certified Since I have the gift card balance, I'm going to use it as a couples lesson for me and my wife, kind of as a date idea She golfs a tiny bit and does want to improve Mainly just curious what people's experiences were like more than anything

- Anyone ever taken lessons at a top golf? Whats it like? : r golf - Reddit
OP is probably asking because they are offering free lessons on May 1st I looked into it a few months back but decided not to pay for lessons because no opportunity to work on putting the person giving lessons at the topgolf location near me did not have any credentials listed If the lesson is free, try it out If you wind up liking it you can go from there
