Can anybody tell me where on the burn rate chart reloader 33 falls? Shooting a 338 Lapua w 300gr SMK Been using retumbo but picked up a jug of re33 and want to begin safe load development Thank you in advance

Re33 is Swiss company Nitrochemie Wimmins AG's Reload Swiss RS80 with a new name and bottle for the US market Nitrochemie shows it as equivalent to Viht N570 on its burn rate chart and in terms of Hodgdon products, it lies between Retumbo and H50BMG, closer to the former Here is what Nitrochemie says about it in its product booklet "Uses:

No information but it just might be perfect with ultra heavies Reason I say this is 8133 would seem slow for 300 win mag and it absolutely rules for me with 225 eld m

The accuracy wasn't terrible It is just that the Reloader 33 shot better and the velocities were a lot more with less pressure It so far has worked good in every gun we tried it in Which is only 5 but all five did better The go to powders for the Lapua has been pretty much been Retumbo and H1000 I think that the Re33 will change that

Reason I bring this up is I really would prefer to run Retumbo (temp stability) vs the RE33 Here are my thoughts Everyone knows that the RE33 produces the very best velocity and great accuracy We all know the 195 running 3140 with RE33 with the throat configuration I have coming (per Ryan Pierce who is building my gun) is legit
