I too am approaching the time when I can no longer fly fish and I have been able to gather a lot of my gear and materials for donation to Project Healing Waters (projecthealingwaters org) Their mission is to help wounded military personnel heal through fly fishing I'm sure they would be grateful for anything that you could donate

Is there is a good organization to donate fly rods to? I'm working through fly fishing gear inherited from my dad and have a number of rods that I don't see myself using I'd love to donate them to a good cause I also don't see that selling them makes much sense as they aren't notable brands
