That being said, I don’t recall if generally an ID50 gets treated as a Y fare in terms of basic economy or not When I last saw ID50s, basic economy wasn’t even a thing yet Usually that info is on ID agreements on myidtravel (if that’s the site you’d use to book the ID50)

Then IIRC when you book flights for her, you’ll have to send an email saying you want her listed for a particular flight - pretty sure she won’t get her own myidtravel Hope this helps if you haven’t already figured it out!

Trying to figure out what do these acronyms stand for? i am guessing Y is for Economy, not sure what do the rest mean, anyone any idea please?

MyIDTravel reads the information straight from GDS so basically what the airline is offering to paying passengers The higher the booking buckets available and lack of lower then that tells the system that you have less chance In other words its what is the airline offers
