You can also travel to existing islands land, though I think of that more as a training method than "the point" of sailing As someone else said, its a "utility" skill- not combat, gathering, or crafting creation

If your getting 200k sailing xp, and 50k mining xp an hour doing mineral dredging thats way too high Shouls be realistically 10-40k xp an hour for 1-60 lvl then 60+ maybe close to 50k an hour and absolutely top out around 75k for 85-90+ MAYYYYBE 90k for some super sweaty strat or wilderness waterness method that involves risking
