Is is possible to tether the pi-star to an iphone via bluetooth connection? My wifi hotspot from the phone is very unreliable (phone issue, not pi-star) Most times when I want to connect I have to restart my phone to make its broadcast its SSID Is there a way to tether via Iphone's built in bluetooth feature for tethering?

Do you know what the IP address is supposed to be for the Pi-Star, if you do try pinging it from the command line, if you're using Windows you will want to run cmd exe If that doesn't show anything then maybe see if your router has allocated a different IP address via its DHCP menu to look at the allocated addresses

First off I managed to get my Pi-star working on my 1Gb Pi 3 It seemed to work well with the configuration It seemed to take all commands and the lights came on when I transmitted on DMR So I tried the shutdown on the pi-star local Worked well It shut down and all was fine

sudo pistar-update runs the update scripts for various bits of Pi-Star including the binaries, dashboard, host files and firewall Normally you run this manually from a terminal reached via the SSH access command on the expert configuration page, you can use the update command from the dashboard in which case the OS updates will not be run as you are not in a terminal
