Destiny is a proper RPG, its easier to use, and if you want to have classic BT mech combat, you use the classic minis rules for the mech, and Destiny tells you how what you did in RPG relates to that Destiny has its own mech rules, and they are lighter too, which are fine if you need quicker combats or maybe like the more 'arena' style feel
