The way I feel about it is, to use an analogy, if Undertale is like an homage to 8-bit RPGs, Deltarune is full on graduated to 16-bit and maybe even early Sega CD tech The tech is more mature, the gameplay is more refined, and it just feels like the devs are more experienced and are willing to push the limits of what they can do

Obviously, there's still time needed for everything to be explored, but I'm starting to feel confident on one aspect of Deltarune Spoiler: Vague stuff on all 4 chapters I'm thinking chapter 2 is the only chapter that is going to have something with a major route split where the player does stuff to have that occur

Undertale sans is Deltarune's sans from a later point in time Sans bleeds unlike the monsters in Undertale but Susie shows monsters in Deltarune do bleed He and his brother came out of nowhere Papyrus says in one of the dev letters than he came from a place where there was a lot of green grass something absent from the Underground and now?

Deltarune has never been able to be bought up until this point - Chapter 1 and 2 are and will continue to be both free, and this is the first time it's available to buy The full thing will be seperate from the Chapter 1 2 Demo, but will carry over save data Further chapters will be free updates

Also nice to hear Deltarune updates I think this time around I'll wait until the whole game is finished before playing it again I finished chapter 2 when it came out! The one chapter per several months doesn't work too well with me because I forget things easily 😂 But I do enjoy what Deltarune has to offer so far
