Hello - another newbie here I am planning a road trip with my 10year old daughter and 80 year old Mom to Yellowstone next June 2010 We will be starting from west Madison Wisconsin and would like to hit Jackson Hole and Grand Tetons also along the way unless it seems like too much for one trip We have a good amount of time over 10 days

The next day we drove back home to RI( day # 5 ) So as you can see, it me 5 days to get back to RI from Yellowstone, which means that Cleveland to Yellowstone can be done in 4 days, which leaves him the option of taking in at least 1 attraction on the way, or adding 1 additional day for Yellowstone

There's really only one logical way to get from Cody to Grant Village - that's using US-14 from Cody directly into the east entrance of Yellowstone, then continue around Yellowstone Lake until you get to GV It's about a 100 mile drive, and I'd give yourself about 3 hours, factoring the tow, terrain, traffic, and potential wildlife
