Workaway only requires a single membership for all countries, whereas WWOOF often requires separate paid memberships for different countries I’ve found that the Workaway website is much nicer than a lot of the WWOOF websites, especially for the smaller or even medium sized countries like Austria (where I did my farm stay experience)

The other nice thing about Workaway is there's more variety in the types of work you can find You'll find organic farms and vineyards and the same types of places you'd find on WWOOF but also hospitality work, language tutoring, creative art projects, etc
